Modern Sniper Zero takes the Modern Sniper franchise and implements it into a different setting. Protect the VIP your government has entrusted you with and protect them from the incoming infected zombies, using only a handful of trustworthy sniper rifles, bought with the money you earn along the way.
It is hard to find an addictive game among the stick men games genre. Many try to go to the top of the list, but few succeed. Whether Modern Sniper Zero makes it to the top is questionable. The idea of the game is hardly original, but the gameplay is fun and can still keep you hooked for a while. There is not much of a storyline and the main idea is as follows – use your sniper rifle and kill the incoming zombies, bent on devouring the VIP that has been placed under your protection. You get access to three different kinds of sniper rifles, and you get money to buy them by killing off enemies. This is a common practice among stick men games, which makes Modern Sniper Zero a little unoriginal. But still, it is a fun way to pass some time. The graphics are simple.
The color scheme is of bluish origin and everything else is portrayed by black. Zombies and the VIP look alike, except for the fact that enemies look a little bit more crooked. The animations are steady, but repetitive, providing you with only two types of enemies to kill. The different scopes of snipers however provide a derivative experience that could be considered a bonus. The only setback is the fact that you are only viewing the level through your scope and the rest of the background remains pitch black. In the sound department there couldn’t be found much. There is music only in the menu, but these don’t blemish the experience of Modern Sniper Zero. The quiet makes you feel as though you are playing with a real sniper. The sound effects however are bitter and broken and are not fun to hear. Still there is much to be seen in this nice action game and it is one that shouldn’t be missed by fans.
