Storm The House

Storm The HouseStorm the House is a Flash-based browser game set firmly in the popular tower defense genre. Your goal is to protect your base from an ever-growing army of foes as days go by and your resistance attracts more variations of enemy units. Fight, keep your walls repaired and stay alive!

Storm the House is yet another tower defense game based around protecting your base from rushing waves of incoming enemies. In a less common deviation from other stick men games of the same genre, it incorporates no supernatural elements and instead chooses to follow a path of military technology and heavy mechanical units, both on the attacking and defending side.

Your primary mean of preventive attack is a sniper rife, which takes a mouse click to shoot and the ‘Space Bar’ to reload. Another line of defense is made up for infantrymen and rocket launchers you are able to purchase later in the game, as you collect funds for the enemy units you managed to take out during the day.

The waves of enemies in Storm the House are separated by days, and their progression seems to only be halted by your death, going on until you give in to the overwhelming enemy force or simply give up. This presents an obvious drawback to anyone who’s not a diehard fan of the genre, but might be considered a plus by those who like unrestricted sandbox-style stick men games.

As in any other tower defense game, continued advancement offers you several upgrade opportunities, starting from the Storm The Houseaforementioned infantry and rockets to automatic repair and improved clip size of your sniper rifle. Players who have chanced upon other stick men games of this particular genre might be underwhelmed by the small selection of improvements, but limited set is efficient enough and works as far as stopping your enemies goes.

Speaking of which, you will encounter guys with swords, armed marksmen, engineers, tanks and some surprising foes on your way towards a record number of days to brag about to your friends.

Still not impressed? Playing Storm the House should do the trick!
