Hitstick 4 is the latest set of the parody Hitman stick man franchise. This time the gameplay is even more upgraded and the game kicks up the action and puzzle sequences up a notch. You’ll still have to go through a set of missions with designated targets, relying solely on your trusty weapon set.
Hitstick 4 is another part of the stick men games puzzle franchise, but it is really better in most ways gameplay-wise. You take up the role of a nameless hit man, gets employed on various hit missions throughout the game.
You get a set of 5 different weapons, one more than in the previous Hitstick games, and you use your mouse to move around and take care of enemies along your way. This time however the sniper rifle is locked at first and you must go through a few missions before getting it.
The gameplay is pretty much the same, but a stealth element is implemented this time around. In most cases you won’t be attacked by guards unless you have your weapons drawn. Just like in the original Hitman game, in Hitstick 4 you can dress up in various outfits to confuse enemies and make your way through the interesting and well-crafted game world. You must decide carefully on which enemies to kill because sometimes killing innocents makes you pay for your actions.
A detailed briefing is issued before the beginning of each mission. Every other aspect of the game is pretty much the same, save for the most detailed environments. The graphics are once again wonderfully detailed and put you right into the skin of an assassin. The enemies are even more diverse than before which makes you want to play more and more.
In Hitstick 4 however the soundtrack is worse than in the previous games of the franchise, which makes it kind of a blemish on stick men games which generally tend to have wonderful soundtracks. However, the sound effects are still pretty realistic and nice. This is one game that never gets repetitive.
