Stickman Siege is a neat action packed strategy game which puts you in the role of an army commander, bent on destroying enemy fortresses or protecting their own. The set of four classes to pick from and the strategic placement of soldiers make it a fun experience to last. Out of all stick men games the best results come from those, which carry action-packed sequences and make you think before you play.
Stickman Siege is one of those games and while you set off to conquer the world map, you will be constantly put to the test while the levels get harder and harder. The gameplay of Stickman Siege is simple, but it’s the abundance of choices that make it fun. You pick one of four classes – a Paladin, a mage, a rogue and a ranger, each of which come with their own sets of skills. You only get to put a set number of soldiers on your field, but as levels pass and you earn money, you have numerous upgrades to help your gaming experience.
The skills are few, but they are fun to use and they all have strategic meaning. It doesn’t matter whether you Attack or Defend, the gameplay is pretty much the same. The sound effects of the game are weak. Stickman Siege does not carry the charm of other stick men games, which try and make use of the best midi sounds on the market. The soundtrack however is neat and addictive whenever you get to hear it. Graphics are the weakest part of Stickman Siege. There are almost no animations whatsoever and during gameplay it appears as though stickmen and projectiles are simply drifting through the air. Despite the setbacks of the game, Stickman Siege is a neat member of the stick men games family. If you can get over the bad graphics and sound effects, the gameplay will probably hook you in and let you enjoy at least half an hour of game time. After all, the gameplay is the most important part of a game and this one is strong in it.
