Dust and Sun puts you in the role of a lone cowboy, who must survive an attack by numerous outlaws in different locations of the Wild West. The main goal of the game is to pick up your gun and shoot. You have access to four weapons and each one unlocks with every subsequent level. Dust and Sun is different than other shooting stick men games. First of all, not many of those are set in the first person view, and then none of them are as atmospheric as Dust and Sun is. The core mechanic is the same as in other stick men games.
However the way the game handles and its constantly changing difficulty, along with the neat soundtrack is what makes Dust and Sun different. Even though you are outnumbered, you are in cover and the cover system works flawlessly. The weapons are quick to fire, and despite that it takes two or three shots to take make a headshot, the game is fairly realistic. In almost no other part of the stick men games genre there could be found a headshot-body shot difference system. 
The backgrounds each level are different and this lets the game take more and more interesting turns as you progress. You could easily say that a lot of work has been put into this title – something few stick men games can be proud of. The soundtrack is typical for westerns and it puts you right into the boots of the lone cowboy you are portraying. The best part is that even the sound effects are top notch and shooting a colt sounds as realistic as possible.
