Stick Defense is a fun action-packed game that implements the tower defense style of gameplay. The main point behind the game is to protect your fortress from ongoing waves of enemy stickmen, trying to destroy it. You have various guns and upgrades at your disposal, which you unlock using the ingame cash you win.
Stick Defense is one of the few tower defense games in the stick men games genre. You take the role of a regular stick man, who has to defend his fortress against endless waves of enemies. You need to implement quick thinking and make sure that your aim is true, in order to achieve the highest score possible. The gameplay behind Stick Defense is simple. You get a gun and a horde of enemies rushing towards your fortress to destroy it. The more money you make, the better weapons you can get. You can also buy things like armor-piercing rounds and better walls for your fortress. Even though the gameplay is repetitive it is fun and fast based. One bad thing about it is the constant bug of enemies continuing to pursue you, despite the game being paused and in the upgrade screen. The main sound you will hear in the game would be that of guns firing. Other than that, disappointingly and not usual for most stick men games, there is not even a soundtrack playing in the background. The graphics are simple and backgrounds are not much as well. You have a poorly drawn war field and all stick men (like in most stick men games) look completely alike here in Stick Defense. The level consists of only a few textures and the animations are quite clumsy, but the fast pace of the game makes up for it. Stick Defense may not become your favorite game, but it is worth spending a few tries over. The fast paced action is good enough for most tower defense buffs, who are also fond of stick man games. You must pay respect to simple flash games, which make you act and think fast, while using your wits.
